Member Introductions

First off, I have to say I am ecstatic that you found your way to Not With Haste! I love getting to know each new member, so I thought what better way than to make an introduction thread? Don't be shy!

I go by Mock here, but my name is actually Jenn. I'm sixteen (woo) and I'm preparing to be a junior in high school. Time has gone by so fast, I feel like I just got to high school a week ago. So far it hasn't been the dread I thought it would be. I'm mostly busy from band, which I love every minute of. Okay, well, almost every minute. Contests are by far my favorite part because we usually perform during sunset, when the sky is alive with color. We stand in our beginning spots for a few minutes waiting for things to get set up and in those moments we are connected as a band, mentally prepping ourselves. It's such a weird, exciting feeling. I'm also in my school's upperclassmen leadership program and service club. Not into sports all that much.

I live in Ohio, but I don't like it much. I love the people, sure, but the landscape is terribly boring. I've gotten quite tired of flat land. Plus, I hate football. That's basically a sin here. I'd love to live further out west. I've never been to a beach before, so the coast would be a sweet area. But I'm not too big on large cities, so I'd stay clear of those. I see my future as a lot of land and a lot of Border Collies. I'd also love to go to college for Zoology, but I'll probably end up going for Business and start my own dog training business. I have my first part time job over at one right now, and I'm loving it.

Surprisingly, I have no pets to show you. We can't support one right now so I just get my puppy fix at work! My favorite breed are Border Collies, along with all the Belgian dogs, Tamaskans, Catahoulas, and Corgis because who can resist them? I will get a few dogs when I'm older and have my own land, but until then, I will wait (not so) patiently.

I'm a pretty quiet person offline. Not really shy, just not open and outgoing. Definitely an introvert. I love books and when I find one that especially catches my interest, I get lost in their world. I also love Animal Planet and, hands down, TLC is my favorite channel. Most of their shows make me want to laugh forever. I've been roleplaying for about five years, I started when I was eleven. There was this online game called WolfQuest and it started my love for canines. Then I got into the warrior cat series, and I still roleplay them along with canines, but I find that I enjoy the looser plots that canine roleplays usually have.

Where do I even start? Well, the first off, I'm very happy to be here and to be the first member, yay! Anyways, onto me, the first thing you should know about me is that I'm not very good at talking about myself and can at times be a little self-loathing, so this may be an interesting introduction but I shall try my best to help you get to know me. 

Lets see, at the moment I shall go by Hazz, but I have gone by many other names in my roleplaying time; Lux, Hazell, Truth, and Juliet. I'm very bad at settling with a certain alias, I can be very indecisive at times. But at the moment I shall simply go with Hazz, although of course that isn't my real name which is Raegan. And I'm a fourteen year old girl about to move up to high school who lives in the Midwest. Despite my age, I have been roleplaying for around three years or so.  And I don't think I'm that bad at roleplaying... But only being fourteen I have the opportunity to improve on my writing which has improved since I was eleven and began roleplaying on a warrior cat website. I have mainly roleplayed on warrior websites, but I have been on several canine roleplays, real-life town roleplays, as well as a few Harry Potter websites and horse sims. I love websites and enjoy talking and communicating with people online. I at times I feel as if I can be myself and talk more freely than I can with people I know in real-life. At times I can be really quiet and reserved around people I don't know very well, although around those I know I can be outgoing and loud. 

Outside of websites such as Proboards and Tumblr, I do enjoy sports, mainly just soccer which I've been playing since I was four. I also enjoy running and jog around my neighborhood whenever I can, but sometimes I just lay around my house doing nothing but roleplaying and watching tv shows on Netflix such as That 70s Show, Supernatural, Doctor Who (sometimes), and many more. Not only that, but I love playing with my dogs, or just laying on the sofa with them because they're very lazy sometimes. I own a Bichon Frise names Sam, and two sixteen-year-old Boxer-Shelty mixes named Sugar Ray (Bubba) and Adrian (Sissy). I really love large dogs such as Mastiffs, Great Danes, Pittbulls, Catahoula Leopard Dogs, and Bernese Mountain Dogs.  And I one day hope to own one of those dogs. 

I also really love music. It is basically my life and I am currently in band and am extremely excited to finally start marching this year, although I am also very nervous because I tend to mess up a lot and I really hope that I don't. But I like the music we have and I don't think it will be that hard to memorize... Not only am I in band, but I was also in choir these past two years in seventh and eighth grade as well as having the amazing opportunity to be in the school musical (the Music Man). I learned so much from that experience and made so many great friends. Some with good music tastes too. And I don't only like band and musicals (but do have a Les Miserables obsession) I also love rock and alternative music. My favorite bands being; My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Nirvana, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, the White Stripes, Falling in Reverse, Three Doors Down, Ghost Town, and Three Days Grace. I could probably list more but I don't think any of you really care all that much. 

That is all I am able to think of mentioning at the moment. Although I'm sure that you will all get to known me better once you begin talking to me. Anyways, I'm glad to be a member here and hope to get to know everyone, and I hope I get to roleplay with you all at some point.

Hey there! Yay for being the second member xD Lovely to meet you both (: I never really have much to say about myself, as I don't think I am the most interesting person ever, but here goes:

My name is Riften, though I have gone by another username on proboards/jcink which is Kezz. I am an eighteen year old girl from rainy old England (it's actually raining right now ffs) - I live about two hours south of London in a county called Kent, otherwise known as The Garden of England; it's very green haha. I both love and hate living here, but I guess that is the same with everyone, right? I'm currently not in education or work, due to personal issues, but I have been offered a place at a college not far from where I live and will start in September, yay!

I have eight pets in total ;D Three dogs (two yorkies and a schnauzer), two cats (one ginger tom, one ginger & white one tom - both rescues) and three horses. I've ridden since I was three years old, and explored all the English disciplines, though I find dressage is probably my favourite as I am something of a perfectionist. Currently I don't have my own horse, as the three we have now are too small/old for competing, so we are looking for something new

In my spare time (of which I have a great deal right now) when I'm not riding or rp'ing, I watch TV shows. I'm a bit of a serial TV show watcher haha xD My favourites are: Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Sherlock, Merlin, Orange is the new Black, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Merlin. I've also watched Dexter, Hannibal, Prison Break and a few others, but didn't enjoy them as much. My favourite films are: Spirit, Running Free, Saving Private Ryan, Million Dollar Baby, Out of the Furnace, American History X and Big. P.S I freakin' love Tom Hanks.

As for role-playing, well I've been at it for about four years now, five this December. I'd like to think of myself as an intermediate writer, but like everyone I have my good and bad daysposts! My favourite kind of RP is equine, but have been a moderator and member of a canine/feline site since 2010, and have dabbled in warrior cats too.

Soo, that is about all I can think of me right now. Can't wait to get writing with y'all
